New Delhi: Yashasvi Jaiswal put on an impressive performance at Guwahati’s Barsapara Cricket Stadium, starting an outburst of boundaries against the Delhi Capitals spinners. The Delhi Capitals won the toss and chose to bowl first, but the choice stung as Jaiswal and Buttler began the game in fifth gear. The RR opening pair contributed to a tremendous 68-run opening partnership by the first batting powerplay, giving their team a rapid start.

In the first six overs, Jaiswal scored 41 runs in 21 balls and Buttler added 24 runs in 15 balls. With their style of play, the duo quickly grabbed the hearts of fans and became the talk of social media.

Jaiswal smashed back-to-back boundaries against DC’s star all-rounder Axar Patel to reach his half-century in only 25 balls. With their explosive show, the RR openers appeared to take the game far away from Delhi.
