5 players who snatched victory from jaws of defeat

1) Venkatesh Aiyar

In the Gujarat Titans Vs Kolkata Knight Riders match, latter team’s player Rinku Singh scripted history by hitting 5 sixes on 5 balls and made his team victorious.


However, it was a gamechanger innings by Venkatesh Aiyar who consolidated KKR’s stand and ensured that it beat Gujarat Titans. His powerful knock of 83 runs (40 balls) was a moment to remember & cherish.

2) Ambati Rayudu

In the 12th match of IPL 2023, Chennai Super Kings was pitted against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai scored 157 runs, which was chased by Chennai in just 18.1 overs. Though, it was a collective effort but Rayudu’s batting was acknowledged & lauded by experts. He played a small but steady knock of 20 runs*.

3) Suyash Sharma

The 19-year-old player from Kolkata Knight Riders was an unknown name until he proved his mettle on debut match. He snatched 3 wickets of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by giving away 30 runs. RCB lost the match against KKR by a small margin.

4) Sai Sudarshan

Sai Sudarshan was the first Impact Player of the IPL Season 16. Chennai Super Kings scored 178/7 runs in reply to which Gujarat scored 182/5 runs and won the match with 4 balls in advance. Sai Sudarshan came for batting after the fall of opening pair and steadied the Gujarat innings by staying put on one side of the batting side. His 23 runs contributed greatly to latter’s win against CSK.

5) Ayush Badoni

This was match No 6 between Lucknow Super Giants & Chennai Super Kings. Chennai put a big total of 217 runs on scoreboard to which LSG made a good chase but lost by a whisker. Ayush Badoni, the impact player of LSG made his contribution but his team lost the match. Despite the loss, Badoni won the hearts of cricket fans.
