In the game, Rashid Khan picked up two wickets, giving just 27 runs and with this, he is currently the leading wicket-taker in IPL 2023. Mohammed Shami went wicketless but gave just 18 runs in his quota of four overs.

Shubman Gill gave a good start to the Titans and scored 56 off 34 while David Miller and Abhinav Manohar made crucial contributions lower down the order with their 46 off 22 and 42 off 21 respectively. Rahul Tewatia gave a great finish to GT as he hit three sixes and scored 20* off 5.

Noor Ahmed picked three wickets for GT while Mohit Sharma got two scalps in the death overs to end things well for GT. Nehal Wadhera scored 40 off 21 while Suryakumar Yadav hit 23 off 12 but in vain. Manohar was named the Player of the Match for his impactful knock.
