IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony: Arijit Singh, Rashmika Mandanna, Tamannaah Bhatia to perform, check when & where to watch

The ceremony will feature celebrities performing for the audience at the biggest cricket stadium, which is, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

New Delhi: IPL 2023 is set to kickstart on March 31 and before defending champions, Gujarat Titans face Chennai Super Kings, the tournament will feature a grand opening ceremony. The ceremony will feature celebrities performing for the audience at the biggest cricket stadium, which is, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The music and dance before the fours and sixes will begin the tournament in grand and gala style.

Where and where to watch?

The opening ceremony will begin at 6 pm on March 31 in the stadium, just before the game. While it is a different experience to watch your favourite stars perform live, fans at home can enjoy the ceremony at Jio Cinema for free. Television viewers can catch the telecast on Star Sports Network.

Bollywood star singer Arijit Singh will be spreading the magic of his music before the IPL while actors Rashmika Mandanna and Tamannaah Bhatia will be entertaining the fans. These three names have been confirmed by the officials, while there are speculations that Katrina Kaif and Tiger Shroff will also be performing at the event, though their names have not yet been confirmed.

The actors and singers will be singing and dancing for the fans to kickstart IPL 2023 with a musical evening.

Meanwhile, the opening ceremony of the inaugural WPL also featured three big names, one singer and two Bollywood stars, namely, AP Dhillon, Kriti Sanon and Kiara Advani.

The performers will get a packed stadium as the tickets have been sold out. GT is playing in front of the home crowd for the first time and no one wants to miss the clash between Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni.
