New Delhi: Rishabh Pant surprised his fans and well-wishers by making a surprise appearance at Aruj Jaitley Stadium during Delhi Capitals versus Gujarat Titans match.
This is the first time Rishab Pant has been seen in public since he got into a near-fatal car crash in December last year.
In the viral video, the Indian wicketkeeper can be seen sitting in the pavilion with his friends. He cheered for his team Delhi Capitals which is playing a home match against Gujarat Titans.

Rishab Pant arrived at the stadium in Delhi in an SUV. The former captain of Delhi Capitals was wearing a white t-shirt with his team’s logo on it. He also had clutches in his legs as he is still recovering from knee surgery.

He was welcomed by Delhi Capitals’ fans, who wrote ” Miss you RP” on a huge banner for him.

David Warner took the captainship of Delhi Capitals after Rishabh Pant was flagged off from this season’s IPL. He suggested that the injured Pant rest appropriately.
Warner suggested Rishabh take things ‘slow and easy.’ However, the Indian batter showed enthusiasm for supporting his team. He told David Warner that he will try his best to show up at the match and support his team.
Rishabh Pant is making a fast recovery and is keeping his fans up to date about his steady journey to health. However, he is far from getting back in action on the pitch.
In December 2022, Rishabh Pant’s car crashed into a divider in Roorkee, Uttrakhand as the Indian skipper has fallen asleep.
However, Rishabh Pant was saved by locals when his car caught on fire. He sustained serious injuries, including a serious ligament tear in his right knee.
