IPL Final 2023 Weather Updates: Rain plays the spoilsport, match moves to reserve day

While Hardik Pandya’s GT won the first game of the season, CSK outplayed them in Qualifier 1 and now they are up against each other once again.

New Delhi: The stage is set for the ultimate clash for the trophy. IPL 2023 began with the clash between defending champions Gujarat Titans and 4-time winner Chennai Super Kings, and is set to end with the same.

While Hardik Pandya’s GT won the first game of the season, CSK outplayed them in Qualifier 1 and now they are up against each other once again. Shubman Gill’s third ton this season and Shami-Rashid leading the bowling attack favours GT while MS Dhoni has the opening pair of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway with Tushar Deshpande and Matheesha Pathirana to pick wickets.

However, the weather has played the spoilsport as it is raining heavily in Ahmedabad and the toss has been delayed.
