New Delhi: Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya and his wife Pankhuri Sharma shared the news of becoming parents on Sunday. The couple is blessed with a baby boy. Krunal also shared two pictures with his wife and baby boy on social media accounts. The cricketer also revealed the name of the boy, calling him Kavir Krunal Pandya.
In the first photo, the 31-year-old cricketer is seen sitting on the bed with his wife who is holding the baby in her hands. In the second photo, the cricketer can be seen kissing the forehead of the newborn.

Soon after sharing the news, the couple got a lot of blessings and heartwarming messages from fans and friends. Notably, Krunal married Pankhuri in December 2017. She is often spotted at the Stadium, cheering her husband during Indian Premier League matches.
His Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) teammate Mohsin Khan also congratulated the couple. Khan wrote, ”Congratulations Bhaiya,” while Sagarika Ghatge, wife of Zaheer Khan also wished the couple and wrote, “Congratulations guys @pankhuriisharma @krunalpandya_official – lots and lots of love to the little one.”
Krunal is a younger brother of Hardik Pandya. Hardik gives credit to his family, especially Krunal and Pankhuri for helping him overcome injury issues. However, Hardik is currently on a break.
On the career front, Krunal has played 5 ODIs, 19 T20Is and IPL matches for the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Lucknow Super Giants.
