New Delhi: Legends League Cricket, season 2, has taken an interesting turn on Sunday when two of the bottom teams get out of a match with both getting points.
The match number 10 of the second season of the Legends League Cricket, between the Southern Super Stars and Bhilwara Kings, gets washed out after 17 overs of only the first innings being played.
Both the teams improved their positioning in the points table as they shredded one point from the match.
The results will unsettle the points table as the scenarios for the semifinal qualification get much more puzzling after Wednesday.
Earlier, after winning the toss, the Southern Super Stars skipper, Ross Taylor, invited Irfan Pathan and his team to bat first.
The start was not great for the Kings as they lost both their openers, Tilakratne Dilshan (0) and Lendl Simmons (11), reducing their score to 21 for 2.
Iqbal Abdulla (40) and Rahul Bist (32), then tried to revive the Kings’ innings but were soon dismissed by Ashok Dinda and Chaturanga de Silva, respectively, to push the Kings on the back foot once again.
The rain made its first appearance at the 15.4 overs mark but then resumed again after some time.

However, after only 8 balls were played after the break, and the Kings lost two more wickets, the rain made its return, only to put the full stop to the match.
The outcome of the match will be severe as both the teams now need to win the rest of their matches in order to qualify for the final 4.
