New Delhi: Manchester United confirmed the transfer of Lisandro Martinez from Ajax. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted and told about Martinez’s inclusion in Man U.

Manchester United and Ajax struck a deal for €55m. United earlier bid for €45 million, including add-ons, but it fell short of Ajax’s valuation. The Red Devils eventually agreed on a deal worth €55 million. Martinez will be signed from 2022-27 as the player moves to Premier League from Eredivisie. The Argentinian footballer showed eagerness to move to Premier League and reportedly Arsenal was also interested in the deal. The player, however, wanted to join United as he reunites with his former manager Erik ten Hag in the red jersey.
Manchester United fans are pleased to have Martinez by their side. A sense of happiness for United fans also comes from the fact that Arsenal could not get the deal.
