New Delhi: Cricketer Axar Patel tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend and ‘best friend’ Meha Patel in Vadodara on January 26. With this Axar joins the club of newly wedded cricketers including KL Rahul, Shadab Khana and Haris Rauf. The Indian all-rounder shared some adorable pictures from the night of his wedding.
Sharing the pictures on his Instagram handle, Axar wrote that he married his ‘best friend’ and it was the ‘most magical day’ of their life. He thanked his family and friends for making the day special for the couple.

Axar wore a sherwani and a traditional ‘pagdi’ (headgear) while Meha can be seen wearing a matching lehenga and carrying a beautiful smile on her face.
While some of the cricketers, including Jaydev Unadkat, were able to attend his wedding, most of the Indian team’s members were busy playing against New Zealand and could not be there. However, as Axar shared the first pictures from his special day, cricketers Suryakumar Yadav, Avesh Khan, Shreyas Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mayank Agrawal and others congratulated him in the comment section.
Suryakumar even shared a quirky comment and wrote that it is good that Axar came forward in this situation.
Also, a video of Axar dancing to ‘Maan Meri Jaan’ went viral on the internet as the cricketer grooves for his love at their Sangeet ceremony.

As per the reports, their honeymoon will have to wait as Axar will return to play in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy while Meha will get back to her job as a dietician and a nutritionist.
