New Delhi: The currently sidelined Indian batter and Karnataka skipper Mayank Agarwal, after getting hospitalized on Tuesday, has shared his health update for his fans through the social media platform X (Formerly known as Twitter).

Mayank Agarwal, who was hospitalized in ICU after completing about the burning sensation in his mouth and throat on Tuesday evening, has posted pictures of him on his X (Formerly known as Twitter) page with the caption, “I am feeling better now. Gearing to comeback. Thank you for prayers, love and support, everyone!”

Notably, a burning sensation in his mouth and throat caused Agarwal to feel ill while travelling to Delhi. He was brought to the ILS hospital in Tripura and spent the night in the intensive care unit. It is anticipated that he will be released shortly.

Agarwal was with the Karnataka Ranji Trophy team as they defeated Tripura by 29 runs in their Elite Group C match on January 29 in the capital city of the state in north-eastern India.

Agarwal suspects foul play

The incident took place when Agarwal was travelling from Agartala airport to Surat with the Karnataka Ranji team for their next match.

Mayank Agarwal has filed an official police complaint about the incident, suspecting it might have been done on purpose who wanted to hurt him.

Police have filed the FIR and have started the investigation.
