New Delhi: The Indian men’s hockey team on Sunday defeated Ghana in the opening game by 11-0 at the University of Birmingham Hockey and Squash Centre. India will next take on hosts England. This is said to big win for India as Ghan could not score a single goal.

Jugraj and Akashdeep added the fourth and fifth goals for the Indian men’s hockey team.

From India, Sreejesh Parattu Raveendram, Manpreet Singh (C), Harmanpreet Singh (VC), Amit Rahidas, Surendra Kumar, Varun Kuma, Hardik Singh, Shamsher Singh, Abhishek, Lalit Kumar Upadhyay participated in the team.
