Mithali Raj retires from all forms of international cricket.

New Delhi: India ODI and Test captain Mithali Raj today announced her retirement from all forms of international cricket.

Mithali retired as the leading run-scorer in the women’s ODIs. So far she has represented the Country in 232 matches, scored 7805 runs at an average of 50.68.

Talking about Test matches, Mithali has scored 699 runs in 12 matches with an outstanding average of 43.68. In 89 T20Is, she has scored 2364 runs .

Taking to Twitter she wrote, “Thank you for all your love & support over the years! I look forward to my 2nd innings with your blessing and support.”

Meanwhile, in the ICC Women’s ODI batting rankings, she continued to hold on to her seventh position.

Mithali Raj is known as one of the greatest Indian female batter.
