MS Dhoni seen as typical bus driver in Star Sports’ new promo for IPL 2022

Star Sports India shared an interesting promotional video for IPL 2022 through its Instagram account, featuring MS Dhoni as a bus driver.

New Delhi: Ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Star Sports India, the official broadcaster of the IPL, shared an interesting promotional video through its Instagram account. The first post features two hands holding a steering wheel. The broadcaster captioned the photo — ”Guess who?”

It has so far received over 50,000 likes. Many fans guessed the hands to be of MS Dhoni and Virat Kholi.

Second post reveals face

After one hour, Star Sports also shared a short video. In which, Dhoni was seen as a driver having a dark mustache and sporting funky yellow goggles.

It captioned the post, ”Stay Tuned.”

Dhoni as a bus driver

In the third and the last post, Dhoni can be seen wearing a Khaki shirt and pants. He is also holding a megaphone, in what the veteran wicketkeeper appears to be a bus driver.

Star Sports India wrote with the post, ”Cue the…’cause he is in a new avatar!”

10 team to play IPL 2022

The 15th edition of the IPL tournament will begin on March 26. The league stages games in the tournament will be played across four venues in Mumbai and Pune.

During the tournament, a total of 70 matches will be played. The final matches will be held on May 29.

In the current season of IPL, a total of 10 teams will fight for the title. The teams are divided into two groups.

Group A is made of: Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, and Lucknow Super Giants.

Group B is made of: Chennai Super Kings, Sunrises Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
