Netizens vent out in a ‘MEME FEST’ as Pakistan are on the brink of a series loss against Bangladesh

Bangladesh are on the brink of something historical as they vie for their first series whitewash against Pakistan in Pakistan.

New Delhi: Bangladesh are on the brink of something historical. It will be the first time the Tigers have the opportunity to win a test series against Pakistan in front of their home crowd.

The Tigers have bettered Pakistan’s overall display of cricketing skills in every department- bowling, batting or fielding. But perhaps the most important part behind Bangladesh’s win was the hunger in the eyes of the Bangladeshi players who wanted to make a statement. Coming back from 26/6 in the first innings to stitch the highest partnership for the 7th wicket speaks volumes about their attitude.

Meanwhile, a laid-back attitude from the Pakistani cricketing team along with poor batting and bowling display (especially batting) led to the demise of the men in green in both tests.

Reaction of the Netizens

One netizen user has remarked that ‘Pak only needs 33 runs to create history…” in an attempt to mock the entire team for the shambolic performance that the men in green have displayed in this series.

In reply, the netizen user was very critical of the Pakistani captain Shan Masood who has not been on point throughout the series be it with his captaincy decisions or the rotation with his bowlers. The Netizen remarked-

Shan sharam karlay ab toh bowling karwa ley khurram say kya niklwana hai ali say…

Khurram Shahzad who has been the most successful bowler of Pakistan was absent from the bowling attack of Pakistan. Instead Mohammad Ali has been brought into attack alongside Abrar which made the Pakistani attack redundant.

The Banga

Criticism has been hurled against former all-format captain of Pakistan, Babar Azam who has been an utter failure with the bat. Babar’s cumulative contribution in the four innings that he has played has not even reached 100 runs (76 runs). Furthermore, Azam’s last century came during Boxing Day in Karachi against Australia in 2022.
