New Delhi: Indian pugilist Nikhat Zareen lost in a fierce competition against Asian champion Wu Yu from China at the Paris Olympics 2024. Both the pugilists who are coming into the competition following a changed weight category exchanged some fiesty blows throughout the competition. However, the Indian boxer failed to land decisive blows in her favour to hand over an easy win (5-0).

Nikhat came into the match after a dominant performance over Maxi Carina Kloetzer (5-0) to increase her medal hopes. However, according to the pundits and experts, the Indian pugilist who is making her Olympics debut was handed out a tough draw in the Paris Olympics 2024.
