Paris Olympics 2024 August 5 India Schedule, Current Medal Tally and More

The Indian action on the 5th of August will see Lakshya Sen take on the Malaysian shuttler Lee Jii Zia in the bronze medal match.

New Delhi: Indian action on the 5th of August will see Lakshya Sen take Malaysian shuttler, Lee Jii Zia. Sen is coming into the match after playing a nail-biter semifinals against Viktor Axelsen. Avinash Sable and Kiran Pahal will compete in the Men’s 3000m Steeplechase and Women’s 4000m. The Indian paddlers- Manika Batra/Sreeja Akula/Archana Girish Kamath will also take part in the round of 16 against Romanian paddlers- Adina Diaconu/Bernadette Szocs/Elizabeta Samara.

Meanwhile, in the evening Indian fans can watch Nisha Dahiya, the silver medalist of the Asian Championships who will start her Paris Olympics 2024 journey in the Women’s Freestyle 68kg category. Indian sailors Nethra Kumanan and Vishnu Saravanan will also partake in the Dinghy Races 9&10. The Indian skeet mixed team of Maheshwari Chauhan, Anant Jeet Singh Naruka will also take part in the qualification and medal matches.
