New Delhi: After nearly three weeks of pulsating action, the 33rd edition is coming to a close. However, like the opening ceremony, the authorities have planned a grand proceeding for all the Parisians and spectators.

Scheduled to take place in Stade de France, the Closing ceremony will see the conclusion of the French chapter and the subsequent relaying of the baton to Los Angeles for the next edition of the Games.

Tom Cruise to feature in Paris?
Although much information has not been dispersed by the French authorities, it is rumoured that the Hollywood star Tom Cruise will make a special feature in the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics 2024.
A special video showing Cruise skydiving to the Hollywood sign is expected to be played out signifying the transition from Paris to Los Angeles (Olympics 2028). Alongside Tom Cruise, French artists Air and Phoenix are also expected to perform as well as Snoop Dogg who has been omnipresent throughout the tournament.

The closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics 2024 is set to take place on the 11th of August (local time) at 9:30 PM (local time). As India and France share a time difference the date and time for the Indian fans change to 12th August, 12:30 AM.
