New Delhi: The clock is ticking for the Paris Olympics as athletes from around the world prepare for the 33rd edition of the mega event. Paris will have 32 events over a packed 3-week schedule with breaking making its debut in this edition of the Olympics.
India has also sent a strong contingent in this edition of the Olympics after the success at Tokyo and the Hangzhou Asian Games. Prime Minister Modi has also asked fellow countrymen to support the athletes in whichever way possible.
Opening and Closing Ceremony of the Paris Olympics 2024
India and France share a time difference of 3 hours and 30 minutes behind. So, the Indian fans will have a lot of adjustments to their clock dials to be on time throughout the Olympics to keep track of the events. The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics is scheduled to take place on the 26th of July at 8:24 pm (local time).
On the other hand, after a nonstop action for three weeks, the Olympics will close on the 11th of August around 3:00 pm (local time).

Interestingly, this will be the first time the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics will be held outside and not in a stadium. This will also drastically increase the number of fans who will be there in the opening ceremony. Creative prodigy Thomas Jolly is the mastermind behind the entire opening ceremony and will oversee the entire proceedings on the 26th.
