PKL 10: Patna Pirates halts Giants unbeaten run to go second in the table, check out the complete points table below

Patna Pirates handed the Gujarat Giants their first loss of the season.

New Delhi: Pro Kabaddi league season 10, Ahmedabad leg finally came to an end on Thursday, with two high-intensity matches, which saw an unbeaten streak getting broken and also the first tie of the season.

Four of the twelve teams were in action on Thursday, i.e., Gujrat Giants, Patna Pirates, Bengal Warriors and the defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers.

In the first match of the day, defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers went toe-to-toe with the Bengal Warriors.

Panthers started the match on high and inflicted the first all-out of the match on the Warriors in the first half.

Warriors, however, with the help of their coordinated defence and Srikkanth Jadhav’s continuous successful raids, climbed back into the match.

The match was in Warrior’s favour in the last minute of the game, but Darpan’s failed advance tackle on Bhavani Rajput helped the Panthers to even the score and record the first tie match of season 10.

In the second match of the day, the three-time champion Patna Pirates, stopped Gujarat Giants’ unbeaten run to go second in the table.

Pirates and Giants were even after the first half at 12-12, but in the second half, Pirates, with the help of Ankit and Manjeet, ran away with a lead and defeated the hosts by 33-30, to win their second match in a row.

The second leg of the tournament will begin on Friday in Bengaluru, with the hosts Bengaluru Bulls taking on the Dabang Delhi KC.
