New Delhi: Leg nine of the Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, is inching towards the end of its league stage the race for the playoffs is heating up at an exponential level.
The top two teams of the league, Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan, despite settling down for a tie in their last respective games, are still going strong and way ahead of any other team in the season.
Meanwhile, the bottom two teams are only waiting for the official confirmation of their elimination from the playoff race.
On Sunday, Patna’s Patliputra Indoor Stadium hosted two huge matches, which made the points table ever so interesting.
In the first match of the day, the defending champions, Jaipur Pink Panthers, went toe-to-toe with the Bengaluru Bulls.
Bulls took on the early lead in the first half, but Panthers made a strong comeback in the second half to take the lead.
On the last raid of the match, Arjun Deshwal only needed to legitimize the raid in order to get his team over the line, but Bharat tackled him before doing that, getting the match to end on level terms, i.e., 28-28.
