New Delhi: Leg nine of the Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, has finally begun, and the position at the points table has started to change from the first day itself.

The home team and three-time champions Patna Pirates became only the third team to start their home leg with a victory.

On Friday, Patna’s Patliputra Indoor Stadium hosted two big matches as the hosts Patna Pirates took on the Bengal Warriors, while Gujarat Giants went toe-to-toe with U Mumba.

In the first match of the day, the Pirates made the Warriors look like a junior team as they completely annihilated them in both halves.

Manjeet Dahiya (10 raid points) and Mayur Kadam (6 tackle points), were heroes for the home team on Day 1.

In the second match of the day, Gujarat Giants registered a huge comeback win against U Mumba to jumper to the number four spot on the table.

Mumba took the early lead in the match, but Giants made a statement comeback and registered an easy 9-point victory, with the final scoreline of 44 to 35 in their favour.
