New Delhi: Leg nine of the Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, has finally begun, and the position at the points table has started to change from the first day itself.
The home team and three-time champions Patna Pirates became only the third team to start their home leg with a victory.
On Friday, Patna’s Patliputra Indoor Stadium hosted two big matches as the hosts Patna Pirates took on the Bengal Warriors, while Gujarat Giants went toe-to-toe with U Mumba.
In the first match of the day, the Pirates made the Warriors look like a junior team as they completely annihilated them in both halves.
Warriors did take the charge in the final five minutes, but the match was long gone before it as the final scoreline read 44 to 28 in the Pirates’ favour.
