New Delhi: Leg eight of the Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, has finally kicked off with teams in the bottom half of the points table looking to get some much-needed momentum to put their nomination forward for a place in the playoffs.
Hyderabad’s Gachibowli Indoor Stadium hosted the first two games of the leg eight on Friday night, with the hosts Telugu Titans locking horns with Bengaluru Bulls, while the neighbours Patna Pirates and UP Yoddhas took on each other.
In the first match of the day, hosts Telugu Titans and Bengaluru Bulls went toe-to-toe in a bid to keep their playoff hopes alive.
However, the Bulls took full advantage of Titans’ lost form as they handed the host team a huge 16-point loss in the first home leg game to boost their chances for making it to the playoffs, as the final scoreline read 42 to 26 in Bulls’ favour.
Vikash Kandola (6 raid points) and Surjeet Singh (7 tackle points) were the heroes for the Bulls on Friday night.

In the second match of the day, Patna Pirates once again proved too much to handle for the neighbours UP Yoddhas, as the former registered a close three points victory over the latter, as the final scoreline read 34 to 31 in Pirates’ favour.
Sachin Tanwar (6 raid points) and Ankit (5 tackle points), were the Pirates’ lead in the win on Friday night.
