PKL 2023: Puneri Paltan climbs back to top spot, Patna Pirates also back in top 4, check out the complete points table

PKL 2023: Puneri Paltan and Patna Pirates put on dominant shows on Monday to jump upwards in the points table.

New Delhi: Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, has finally entered a new phase with their official entry into the year 2024, as the race for the playoffs has started to heat up with every passing match.

Noida’s Noida Indoor Stadium hosted the first two matches of 2024 of the Pro Kabaddi League season 10, as Puneri Paltan went toe-to-toe with Telugu Titans, while the hosts UP Yoddhas took on their neighbours Patna Pirates.

In the first match of the day, Puneri Paltan completely dismantled the Telugu Titans side as they registered the biggest win of the season, i.e., by 36 points to go top of the points table.

Titans misery in the season as they suffered their eighth loss in their ninth match and are placed at the rock bottom of the points table.

Mohit Goyat, with nine raid and four tackle points, was the biggest star for the Puneri Paltan side on Monday.

The second match of the day, between Patna Pirates and UP Yoddhas, carried a somewhat similar story as the first match of the day, as once in the lead, Pirates never took the backseat and finished the match with a final score line of 48 to 41 in their favour.

UP Yoddhas skipper Pardeep Narwal (21 raid points) looked in his vintage form but was only able to extract one point from the match for his team.

Sachin Tanwar (13 raid points) and Neeraj Neeraj Kumar (5 tackle points), were the two leaders of the Patna Pirates side in their dominant win over Yoddhas.
