New Delhi: Leg seven of the Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, is about to end, and the teams in the top half of the points table are getting more comfortable with each passing match.
The defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers are still at the top of the table after their dominant home leg run, while the second spot Puneri Paltan are just one point behind the table toppers with one less match played.
Dabang Delhi, Gujrat Giants and Haryana Steelers are the next three in the points table with same number of wins in same number of matches, i.e., seven wins in 12 matches, while the battle for sixth position is still wide open with Bengal Warriors currently holding the spot.
Jaipur’s Sawai Man Singh Indoor Stadium, on Tuesday the battle of survival match between the two struggling teams, i.e., Patna Pirates and Tamil Thalaivas.
Patna Pirates were the favourites going into the match, as they were in better form than the struggling Tamil Thalaivas.
However, the Thalaivas came with a mission in the match and kept the pressure on the three-time champions throughout the game and never allowed them any space for a comeback, as they finished the match with the final scoreline of 41 to 25 in their favour.

Sudhakar (8 raid points) and Ankit (5 tackle points) tried their best to get the Pirates back in the match but were outclassed by Tamil Thalaivas’ Ajinkya Pawar (10 raid points) and M Abhishek (7 tackle points).

On the last day of leg seven on Wednesday, the defending champions and hosts Jaipur Pink Panthers will take on the Haryana Steelers to become the first team of season 10 to win all their home leg matches, but not before Dabang Delhi and Gujrat Giants battling it out for the third place in the points table.
