PKL 2023: U Mumba and Dabang Delhi back in top 6 after statement wins, check out the complete points table

PKL 2023: U Mumba continued their winning run while Dabang Delhi upsets the hosts.

New Delhi: Leg five of the Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, is getting intense as the visiting teams have started to take over, handing the host UP Yoddhas their first of their home leg.

The second day of the leg five at Noida’s Noida Indoor Stadium hosted to big matches, including Telugu Titans taking on the U Mumba side while U.P Yoddhas taking on the Dabang Delhi KC.

In the first match of the day, the struggling Telugu Titans took on the in-form U Mumba side in a bid to get their second win of the second.

The match was evenly poised in the first half of the game as both the teams were going neck and neck in the points.

However, U Mumba played extra aggressively in the second half and didn’t give the Pawan Sehrawat less Telugu Titans any space for breathing, as they finished the match with the final score line of 52 to 34 in their favour.

Guman Singh (10 raid points), Rinku (8 tackle points), and Sombir (8 tackle points) were U Mumba’s heroes for the night.

With this win, the U Mumba side is now placed at number 4 in the points table.

In the second match of the day, the local team U.P Yoddhas hosted the Dabang Delhi KC side.

Despite Yoddhas’s best efforts, Dabang Delhi was able to keep the lead intact throughout the game, as they finished the match with the final score line of 35 to 25 in their favour.

UP Yoddha had a chance to get at least 1 point in the match, as with only 8 seconds left in the game, they had a score difference of only 5.

However, the Delhi stand-in captain and raider, Ashu Singh, scored a super raid in the final moments of the match, forcing another all-out on U.P yodd6has and taking the chance of getting at least something out of the match away from them.

Ashu Malik (11 raid points) and Ashish (5 tackle points) were the stars of the night for the Dabang Delhi KC.

Dabang Delhi, with this win, jumped three spots up to place themselves at number 6 in the points table.

On Sunday, the last day of the year, Noida Indoor will host two big games. In the first match of the day, Fazel Atrachali’s Gujrat Giant will go face-to-face with Manninder Singh’s Bengal Warriors, while in the second match of the day, Bengaluru Bulls will lock horns with the Tamil Thalaivas.
