CWG 2022 Updates: Shuttler PV Sindhu clinches gold against Canada’ Michelle Li in women’s singles

Sindhu confirmed medal for her country by defeating Singapore’s Yeo Jin Min in the semifinal of the women’s singles on Sunday

New Delhi: India’s star shuttler PV Sindhu gave a chance to all the countrymen to proudly hoist the tricolour by adding another gold in India’s kitty in the Commonwealth Games 2022. It is the 19th gold medal for India in the ongoing tournament.

Indian ace shuttler PV Sindhu confirmed a medal for the country in badminton after defeating her opponent Yeo Jin Min from Singapore in the semifinal of the women’s singles event on Sunday at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham.

Today she was in action against Canada’s Michelle Li in the women’s singles event.
