New Delhi: The Indian Premier League franchise got some good news on Thursday, as their retained signee from England, Will Jacks, set the stage of the SAT20 League on fire as he scored a fiery knock for his team, Pretoria Capitals, and registered a 41 ball century against the Durban Giants.
Will Jacks scored a brilliant 101 runs from 42 balls. His impressive innings included eight boundaries and nine sixes before getting dismissed by the opposition skipper, Keshav Maharaj.
Jacks’ innings also helped the Pretoria Capitals to register their first win of the season after losing two matches back-to-back, which saw the Capitals go one spot up in the points table to fifth position.

Notably, the English all-rounder, who has featured in 11 international T20 matches for the English side and is known for his aggressive batting style, was called on board by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru franchise during the IPL 2023 auctions for an impressive amount of Rs 3.2 crores.
However, Jacks was ruled out of IPL 2023 after picking up an injury and was replaced by New Zealand’s Michael Bracewell for the season.
Jacks was retained by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru management ahead of the IPL 2024 auctions last December, and after watching Jacks’ batting prowess in the SAT20, the Team management will be very satisfied with their call.
