New Delhi: Real Madrid made an official announcement about the transfer of the midfielder Carlos Henrique Casemiro. The club has agreed to a transfer to Manchester United. Casemiro has been part of the Real Madrid C.F. for a long time, and it will be a new journey for him with the Red Devils.
Making the announcement, Real Madrid expressed gratitude for the services rendered by the footballer. The club said, “Casemiro will always be remembered by the madridistas as representing the values of our club. An exemplary player who has given his all for Real Madrid.” The heartfelt announcement added that the club is a home for Casemiro and will always be.
The midfielder joined Madrid in January 2013 and since then he has won 18 trophies, including five European Cups, three Club World Cups, three UEFA Super Cups, three LaLiga titles, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups. The Brazilian player was loaned to FC Porto in 2014 but made his return for Madrid in the next year. He has scored 31 goals in 336 appearances for the club. He was also named the Best Player of the UEFA Super Cup final won a few days ago in Helsinki and has been nominated for the 2022 Ballon d’Or.

There will be an official act of tribute and farewell to Casemiro at Real Madrid City on August 22 at 11:30 pm CET (3:00 pm IST). Club president Florentino Pérez will also be present there to bid a farewell to the footballer. After the ceremony, the midfielder will appear before the media in the press room at Real Madrid City.
Real Madrid fans are emotional at the moment as Casemiro, Kroos and Modric were one of the favourite midfielder trios in the league. Kroos and Modric also penned farewell letters for their teammate, sharing some emotional instances and wishing him good luck for the future.
