Rishabh Pant Accident: Rajat and Nishu or bus driver, who saved Indian star wicketkeeper’s life? Know the truth

While the internet is confused over who actually saved Pant’s life, Rajat cleared the air in a chat with ANI.

New Delhi: While Rishabh Pant is out of danger and is being treated in the hospital, the claims behind the persons who saved him are making a buzz on the internet. Haryana Roadways and ex-cricketer VVS Laxman shared the news of a bus driver Sushil Kumar along with a conductor to be the ones who saved Pant from the car and called the ambulance. On the other hand, Rajat and Nishu, who went to meet Pant at the Max Hospital claimed that they were the ones who helped him.

While the internet is confused over who actually saved Pant’s life, Rajat cleared the air in a chat with ANI. After meeting Rishabh Pant at the hospital, Rajat said that they saw him first in a serious condition and helped him. The bus driver and the conductor arrived at the situation and they were the ones to call the ambulance.

He added that they did not know who he was but they covered his body with clothes to save his life. He told that they handed the Rs 4000 cash that belonged to Pant to the police while the rest of everything was burnt.

Rishabh Pant met with a near-fatal accident when his car hit a divider while driving to Uttarkhand. His car caught fire, but people like Rajat and Nishu came to the rescue. He was first taken to the Saksham Hospital and then shifted to the Max Hospital, Dehradun. DDCA director Shyam Sharma said that due to fear of infection they have asked the hospital administration to shift him to a private suite. The cricketer got two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee along with other injuries, but is better now.
