Rishabh Pant will be admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital: Reports

Cricketer Rishab Pant will undergo further treatment at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai.

New Delhi: Cricketer  Rishabh Pant will be admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai said Media Advisory.

He was discharged from a private hospital in Dehradun and has been shifted to Mumbai for further treatment.

According to reports, the player will have to undergo surgery for ligament tears once he is shifted to the Mumbai hospital.

He will be treated under the direct supervision of Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala. He is the Head of the Centre for Sports Medicine and Director of Arthroscopy & Shoulder Service at the hospital.

 

The player was airlifted to Mumbai today. His mother and sister were seen accompanying him.

Earlier today, the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) official said the further treatment of the star wicket-keeper will be taken care of by the medical team of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) throughout his recovery process.

They also informed that board secretary Jay Shah is also keeping a close eye on it.

On Sunday (January 1), Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Rishabh Pant at Dehradun’s Max hospital who was undergoing treatment there.

On December 30th, Rishabh met with an accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway near Roorkee, Uttarakhand.

The player was driving the car and was travelling alone when the horrific accident happened.
