New Delhi: Cricketer Rishabh Pant, who was admitted in Dehradun’s Max Hospital, was on Wednesday airlifted to Mumbai for further treatment.
Team India’s star wicketkeeper-batter is being taken to Mumbai via air ambulance for next line of treatment, which also includes some surgery.
While the cricketer was being assisted by paramedics, a crowd of mediapersons also assembled at the spot. In their bid to give out fresh & first-hand account of information on Pant’s health, they apparently created inconvenience for the cricketer’s family or at least the family felt so.
At one point of time, Rishabh’s sister lost her cool over the barrage of cameras thronging around him and creating inconvenience.
Pant’s sister lashed out at the cameras and also gathering of people while he was being taken to Mumbai via air ambulance.
In Mumbai, Rishabh Pant will be admitted in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital for further treatment. The cricketer will undergo some surgery for some ligament tears.
Pant’’s health will be monitored by BCCI medical team throughout his recovery and rehabilitation, said a letter issued by BCCI Secretary Jai Shah.
The cricketer had met with a near fatal accident on Uttarakhand highway on December 30, while he was driving home by road to surprise his family on the New Year. The cricketer was rescued & taken to hospital by some local men who also came to meet him in the hospital while he was recuperating.
