Ronaldo wants to leave ManU, Chelsea may go for buy

New Delhi: Manchester United’s transfer window saw more drama as reports of Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer emerged. Some reports even say that it is Ronaldo who wants to leave the club. The Portuguese footballer is said to have asked to be allowed to leave the club this summer if ManU receives a satisfactory offer for him.

However, there are claims that the club management has made it clear that they are looking at Ronaldo to play next year, which is also the final year of his contract. The 37-year-old footballer made his return to the Premier League last year, with a two-year contract with Manchester United. Ronaldo moved to ManU from Juventus which was a deal for £12.85 million.

In the current transfer window, Chelsea is said to have shown interest in striking a deal with United to get Ronaldo to their side. Chelsea is set to be one of the busiest clubs in this transfer window as Romelu Lukaku and Antonio Rudiger have already left the club for Inter Milan and Real Madrid. Apart from Ronaldo, the club is also looking to buy Raheem Sterling and Ousmane Dembele.
