South Africa is currently at the number 3 spot but can jump to the second spot if they can beat the Bangladeshi side by a convincing margin and keep their net run rate above the current number 2 on the table, New Zealand.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, started their journey with an easy 6 wickets win over the Afghanistan side but were soon downsized by the likes of England, New Zealand and India, who defeated them by 137 runs, 8 and 7 wickets, respectively.
