New Delhi: The rumours of Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi getting married again are finally confirmed to be true.
But there is no controversy involved as he is getting married again to his wife Ansha Afridi only.
Shaheen got married to former Pakistani captain Shaheed Afridi’s daughter Ansha Afridi on February 3, earlier this year by Afridi tribal rituals.
However, the function was kept private last time with not many guests involved, with only family members and close friends involved.
The pictures of his private marriage functions were shared by Shaheen Afridi himself, who also urged fans not to share the pictures too much.
But it seems like the duo wants to celebrate this beautiful moment of their life with everyone around them, and have decided to get married again in a grand fashion later this month.
The marriage is scheduled for September 19, two days after the Asia Cup 2023 finals and two days after the marriage on September 21. The reception dinner will be organised.
Notably, 23-year-old Shaheen is one of the most important players in Pakistan’s national team. He is being compared with legends like Dale Styne and Jimmy Anderson at this very young age.
Shaheen is currently part of the Pakistani squad for the Asia Cup 2023 and is in great form. Shaheen Afridi is, at the moment joint second-highest wicket-taker in the Asia Cup 2023, alongside his teammate Naseem Shah with seven wickets each. Shaheen’s own teammate Haris Rauf is the leading wicket-taker with nine wickets.
Pakistan is currently at the top of the points table In Super 4, thanks to their huge 7 wickets win in the last match. They will now face their arch-rivals India in the next match on September 10.
