Suryakumar Yadav wins hearts, asks security to allow kids to click selfies with him (WATCH)

Mumbai Indians shared a video in which SKY can be seen asking the security personnel to allow kids to come for selfies and autographs.

New Delhi: Suryakumar Yadav scored a cracking fifty and his and Tim David’s heroics led Mumbai Indians to victory against Rajasthan Royals in IPL’s 1000th game. After the game, a heartwarming gesture by the batter made him a hero both on and off the field. Yadav asked security to let his young fans approach him for pictures and autographs.

Mumbai Indians shared a video in which SKY can be seen asking the security personnel to allow kids to come for selfies and autographs. At first, he clicked a few pair selfies with fans and as the demand rose, he decided to click a group selfie and asked them to share it with each other. A young fan Aadi got an autograph from Suryakumar and he was seen dancing out of joy on the road.

In another video, Suryakumar can be seen receiving a special badge from captain Rohit Sharma in the dressing room. After a poor ODI stint, SKY has found his touch back as he is scoring runs relentlessly again.

In the game, RR put up a total of 212 after Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a quick century. While no other batter could put a crucial contribution, Jaiswal scored 124 off just 62 runs, hitting 16 fours and 8 sixes. While Arshad Khan got hit for 39 runs in three overs, he managed to pick up three wickets. Piyush Chawla continued his form to pick two wickets and Jofra Archer and Riley Meridith got one each.

Suryakumar Yadav scored 55 off 29 showing his 360-degree hitting prowess and he was aided by Cameron Green’s 44 off 26. However, it was Tim David who finished the affairs for MI as he put up 45* off just 14 balls, hitting 2 fours and 5 maximums. With 17 needed off the last over, Tim David hit three back-to-back sixes against Jason Holder to chase the total.
