
New Delhi: Pakistani cricketer and Indian tennis player Sania Mirza’s husband Shoaib Malik received love from Indian fans during Sunday’s ICC T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan.
During the match, when Malik took his fielding position near the boundary, fans cheered him calling him ‘jijaji’.
In the video, a section of fans can be seen trying to get the Pakistan all-rounder’s attention with their chants. Shoaib Malik can be seen turning back for a brief moment, and the cheers get louder. After the video has gone viral, Sania also shared the video on Twitter with laugh and heart emojis.

Shoaib Malik is one of the most experienced player in Pakistan’s current T20 team. Meanwhile, he did not get a chance to bat on Sunday as openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan took the team to a comfortable 10-wicket victory.
