New Delhi: Pakistani cricketer Iftikhar Ahmed recently lost his cool at a fan during the 2nd T20 International match between Pakistan and New Zealand that was played in Hamilton on Saturday.
It all started when the middle-order batsman, who was fielding near the boundary ropes during the first innings, was called ‘Chachu’ by a fan. However, the nickname didn’t go well with the cricketer who then gave a shocking reply to his fan, and a video of the same is now going viral on the internet.

In the viral video, Iftikhar and one of his fans who just addressed him as ‘Chachu’, can be seen arguing with each other amid the ongoing cricket match. During the altercation, Iftikhar can be seen visibly upset at the guy as he scolds him saying, “Khamosh Reh Chup reh”(Stay quiet, don’t call me Chachu).
Confused by the cricketer’s unexpected response, his fan then says, “Usse kya hoga” (what will happen?) hearing which, middle-order batters give him an angry stare before turning around and focusing on the game. Later, fellow spectators of Iftikhar’s fans are also heard telling him to stop bothering the cricketer and let him play.
