New Delhi: Young India opener, Ruturaj Gaikwad grabbed the limelight on Sunday, for mistreating and disrespecting a groundsman.
In the video that has gone viral on social media shows a groundsman who was trying to take a selfie with the batter. But, Gaikwad can be seen asking the groundsman to maintain distance and then he turned his face the other way.
This behaviour of Ruturaj Gaikwad was not liked by many and called it “disrespectful”.
The incident happened during the rain break when Gaikwad was sitting in the dugout.

On Sunday, the fifth T20I between India and South Africa was called off due to rain on Sunday in Bengaluru.
Only 3.3 overs were bowled in the match and in that period, India had managed to post 28/2 with both Ishan Kishan and Ruturaj Gaikwad in the hut.
India will be next seen playing against Ireland in a two-match T20I series, which is set to begin on June 26.
