New Delhi: Indian skipper Virat Kohli does not only create records on the cricket field but off the field as well. In a recent breakthrough, the Indian star batsman has become the first Indian to reach the ‘200 million followers’ benchmark on Instagram.

Kohli happens to be a popular and much-loved cricketer across the world, and this can be seen through the love being showered upon him by his fans on social media.

Virat Kohli is, in fact, the most followed cricketer on the social media platform Instagram. Interestingly, he stands third, just behind  Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, on the list of most followed sportspersons on Instagram.

According to HopperHQ, in 2021, Kohli charged around $68,000 (Rs. 5 crore) for an Instagram post.
