New Delhi: Riyan Parag has found himself in the middle of yet another controversy post a horrendous end to the IPL campaign. Screenshots from Parag’s YouTube history have found themselves on the internet, creating a public outrage on X (formerly Twitter). Amongst the leaked searches were Bollywood actresses Ananya Pandey and Sara Ali Khan in inappropriate manner.
Parag had a promising start to IPL 2024 and was looking to make the cut for India’s T20 World Cup squad after scoring an impressive 573 runs. However, coming to the business end of the tournament, Parag failed miserably eventually just scoring 6 runs in the final game of IPL which saw his side out of the IPL.

How did the controversy start?
If the bad form of Parag faced criticism, the leaked YouTube has stirred even more controversy amongst people. The controversy started after Riyan Parag resumed his routine gaming streams on YouTube.

After turning on his stream, Parag was looking for some copyright-free music to add to his stream. However, as bad luck had it, Parag had forgotten to stop the sharing of his screen while doing the streaming. That’s when the people present in the stream were able to watch the search history of the 22-year-old Assam Cricket star. Everyone was quick to notice that Parag’s search history had- “Ananya Pandey Hot” and “Sara Ali Khan Hot.”

Netizens have taken a dig at the entire controversy as the leaked footage has spread across every social media platform. The reaction from the public has seen a mix bag of emotions as some found the incident comical while others have criticised the incident on the pretext of inappropriate searches.

So far there has been no reply from both the actresses neither there has been any legal steps taken against the cricketer. It is now to be seen whether the matter dies down in social media or takes a new angle.
