New Delhi: As Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) locked horns with Punjab Kings (PKBS) in their recent match, all the focus fell on former India captain Virat Kohli who made yet another attempt to ditch his fluctuating form on Friday.
In the game, Kohli and Faf du Plessis gave a good start to RCB chasing the target. After 3.1 overs the score was 33 runs without a wicket. On the second ball of the fourth over, Kohli went to play a pull shot off fast bowler Kagisay Rabada.
The ball hit his body and went to Rahul Chahar at short file leg. But the on-field umpire did not give Kohli out. Punjab then went for a review.
The review made it clear that the ball hit Kohli’s gloves first and then went to the player, hence the third umpire dismissed him.
Not just Kohli fans but all the cricket lovers were saddened to see the amazing batter returning back to the pavilion on just the 14th ball in the match.
Virat, who has been going through a rough form for past some time, was seen looking towards the sky and speaking something as if complaining to the god.

Meanwhile, his teammate RCB skipper Faf du Plessis while talking on Kohli’s dismissal said, “He (Virat Kohli) is seeing the lighter side of it, every single way that you can possibly get out is happening to him. That’s how the game works”.
