All you need to know about Kashee Gautam

Kashvee is a very underrated name in the Indian women’s cricketing spectrum. Despite playing several impressive knocks in the domestic circuit, the 18-year-old remained in the shadows with the majority of the cricket fans being unaware of her name & talent for a long time.

Even today, her social media handle Instagram has just about 2000 followers which is very less for an Indian cricketer.

Who is Kashvee Gautam?

Born and brought up in Chandigarh, Kashvee chose cricket as her profession at the young age of 14 and dedicated her life to the game.

After years of hard work, the youngster  finally rose to fame after she made a historic record of getting 10 out of 10 wickets in a domestic Under 19 match which was played back in Feb 2020 in Arunachal Pradesh’s KSMR Collage’s cricket ground.

In the memorable match, Kashvee, who was playing for Chandigarh, wreaked havoc with both bat & ball as she single-handedly destroyed the entire lineup of Arunachal Pradesh.

While she played an important knock of 49 runs with the bat, the youthful cricketer took all 10 wickets of Arunachal’s team by doing exceptional bowling in front of which, not even a single batter of the hilly state’s team looked comfortable.

After achieving this remarkable feat, the cricketer never looked back and went on to become one of the most promising young players in India’s women’s cricket.

Interestingly, Kashvee also participated in the Women T20 Challenge Tournament which was organized by BCCI from 2018 to 2022. The tournament was later discontinued as BCCI replaced it with the newly introduced WPL in 2023.
