During the trophy unveiling ceremony before the match, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan and Zimbabwe skipper Craig Ervine donned orange headgear, symbolizing their solidarity with the cause. The initiative highlights the power of cricket to transcend the sport, rallying behind meaningful social issues.
What happened in the second ODI?
After losing the first ODI, the Pakistani cricket team bounced back in style to tie the series 1 apiece. The men in green produced an all round show to draw level in the ODI series.
After bowling out Zimbabwe for 145, Pakistan overhauled the target in just 18.2 overs. Opener Saim Ayub was the superstar with the bat, hitting a quickfire century. Earlier, the spin duo of Abrar Ahmed and Agha Salman shared seven wickets to dismiss the hosts for a below total.
