Why does Naseem not allow his dad to watch the matches?

Now, in hindsight, the question that arises is why does Naseem Shah not allow his father to come to watch the matches. “At times, all you are searching for are small moments of happiness. My father is going through some health issues….” Furthermore, Shah added that he calls up his brothers to make sure that his father is kept away from the television set.

According to Shah, the primary reason why his father does not watch the matches is because of the dirty politics that goes beyond the ambit of the game. Naseem says that his dad has aged and is not well currently. Naturally, if he sees all those politics outside the game of cricket, his father’s health is bound to deteriorate even further.

Furthermore, Naseem was also asked about the India vs Pakistan match during the recently concluded T20 World Cup and the raw emotions displayed by Naseem Shah. In response, Shah said, “There are a lot of emotions attached with such matches…”
