Wrestler Ravi Dahiya wins gold in 57kg category at CWG 2022

New Delhi: Wrestler Ravi Dahiya won a gold medal at the CWG games in Birmingham in the men’s 57kg final on Saturday. He defeated Nigeria’s Ebikewenimo in the event. This is India’s 10th Gold medal.

It is reported that this was Dahiya’s first CWG medal that he won in his first attempt after he had missed the Games in Gold Coast four years ago due to an injury. Owing to this, he was away from the wrestling mat for over a year.
