The bravery of 14 Corps will be talked about everywhere. Tales of your bravery and valour are echoing in every house in the country, said PM Modi.

The military commanders from both sides had met initially on June 6 and had agreed to disengage at multiple locations. India had asked the Chinese side to return to pre-May 4 military positions along the LAC.

"BJP should learn something from Congress and should not repeat what they did. They will have to work really hard to make India 'Atmanirbhar', publicity won't do much," the BSP chief added.

The Chinese side also conveyed that they had submitted a proposal "a long time back" to discuss and resolve the boundary issue with India and New Delhi should respond to it. The details of the proposal given by the Chinese government are still awaited, the sources said.

Invoking Mahatma Gandhi, Ranaut then urges people to boycott Chinese goods in India and support the government in its "war".

Sharing an international daily's article titled 'India's appeasement policy toward China unravels' on Twitter, the Congress leader wrote: "Narendra Modi Is actually Surender Modi".

Sources said that even though outnumbered, the Bihar regiment managed to remove the Chinese post which was existing there in violation of the agreements between the two sides.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid tributes to these soldiers and asserted that their "sacrifice will not go in vain".

The talks would be held to find solution to the dispute in Patrolling Point 14 in Galwan area, Patrolling Point 15 (114 Brigade area) and Patrolling Point 17 (Hot Springs area), sources said.
