"Before beginning of Monsoon Session, the MPs were briefed about Covid-19 precautionary measures by AIIMS director Dr Randeep Guleria on September 13 and September 14," Speaker Om Birla informed.
"I hope that in these trying times, all members will be present and will engage in fruitful discussions," said Om Birla
According to Rajya Sabha Secretariat, various parties will be allotted seats in the chamber and galleries of Rajya Sabha based on respective strength and the remaining will be seated in the chamber of Lok Sabha in two blocks meant for ruling parties and the others.
Birla made the remarks soon after the House met for the day and opposition members pressed for a discussion on Delhi violence on their adjournment notices.
