SIAM said the total production of passenger vehicles including three-wheelers, two-wheelers and quadricycles in July was 17.15 lakh units as against 24.28 lakh units in the same month of last year with a de-growth of 29.36 per cent.

Passenger car sales were down 58 per cent at 55,497 units while three-wheeler sales slipped to 10,300 units as compared to 51,885 units in June 2019, marking a decline of over 80 per cent.

Commercial vehicles sales were down by 14.98 per cent in November with 61,907 units compared to 72,812 units sold in the same month of last year.
