The plot to harm the integrity of this country began last year through the academic channels especially Jamia Millia Islamia University and Jawahar Lal University (JNU).

The judge made the observations while sending Jamia student Asif Iqbal Tanha, charged under UAPA to judicial custody for 30 days. Tanha was arrested for violent protests at Jamia against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Following such incidents in Brahampuri and Maujpur, police and Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel conducted a flag march in these areas after clashes broke out between two groups.
